Maritime Transport (Maritime) has started to take delivery of ten Tipping Skeletal Trailers.
The new trailers, supplied by Maritimes preferred supplier for skeletal trailers Dennison - are being delivered over the coming weeks and will add to their already substantial fleet of over 2,000 trailers.
This latest order comes on the back of a large purchase from the Irish manufacturer for 350 sliding skeletal trailers earlier this year.
The tipper trailers have been purchased as a result of the success of an ongoing bulk contract operated from Maritime Felixstowe.
"They will support the container transport side of the business which sees over 11,000 container moves each week."
"The specialist trailers are the latest specification from Dennison and will be fully compliant with the new London Safer Lorry Scheme requirements" explained Nigel Ponton, Regional Engineer for Maritimes trailer fleet. "We selected Dennison again due to our fantastic working relationship with them and the high standard of their products."
"We are delighted Maritime have chosen us to supply their new tipping trailers and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future" said James Dennison, Dennison Trailers.
"Having these new trailers will make a big difference to our operation" said Paul Godfrey, Area Manager, Maritime. "They will support the container transport side of the business which sees over 11,000 container moves each week."
