Maritime Transport is the UK’s leading provider of integrated road and rail freight logistics, providing complete supply chain coverage, through a range of services including container transport and storage, domestic distribution, warehousing, freight management, and truck sales.

Maritime Transport’s registration with the Information Commissioners Office as a Data Controller is number Z9206245.

Maritime Transport promise that your personal data shall be:

What is personal data?

We only collect information that we know we will genuinely use and in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation. The type of information that we will collect includes:

This list is not exhaustive, and we may, in further dealings with you, extend this information to include your services used, records of conversations, agreements, and payment transactions.

We do not collect sensitive information except where we are legally required to as part of the recruitment process. You are under no statutory or contractual requirement or obligation to provide us with your personal data; however we require at least the data above in order for us to deal with you in an efficient and effective manner.

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep your data for

We retain a record of your personal data in order to provide you with a high-quality and consistent service. We will always retain your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation, and never retain your data for longer than is necessary. Our retention procedures take into account the extent to which retention of your data is required to best provide you with and develop our services, manage your relationship with us, meet our statutory, contractual, legal, accounting and audit obligations.

Who we might share your information with

  • From time to time, employ the services of other parties for dealing with certain processes necessary for the operation of the website. However, all the data we share will be collected and anonymised, so neither you or your devices can be identified from it
